DirectLine-IT Expands Free Tech Services for Seniors in Community Outreach
Hood River – 09/08/24 – In a continuing commitment to support the local community, DirectLine-IT is excited to announce an expanded initiative to provide free tech services to seniors aged 70 and older. This service is available when performed at our office, offering a valuable opportunity for seniors to get the tech support they need without incurring service costs. The only charges applicable will be for any parts required for repairs.
In addition, for those seniors who require assistance in their homes, we offer an onsite service at a nominal fee of $50, which covers our employees' time and travel expenses. This initiative is currently limited to three time slots per week to ensure personalized and quality service.
To further our commitment, DirectLine-IT is working to also be available monthly at local senior centers for two hours to help and answer any tech-related questions that seniors may have. This outreach is designed to provide direct support and guidance, helping seniors navigate the increasingly complex digital world with confidence.
“We are dedicated to being a true community partner,” said Matt Cole, Owner of DirectLine-IT. “By offering these free services and extending our support to local senior centers, we aim to make technology more accessible and less intimidating for our valued senior citizens.”
